Hun Ming Kwang: Helping People Reconnect, Reflect, and Rise
A Gentle Force for Inner Growth
If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or simply unsure of what comes next, you're not alone—and you’re not without guidance. Hun Ming Kwang is someone who helps people navigate those inner crossroads.
Based in Singapore but known around the world, Hun Ming Kwang has built a career on something simple but profound: helping people reconnect with themselves. He’s a certified life coach (ICF PCC), a bestselling author, and a trusted advisor to people from all walks of life—including entrepreneurs, community leaders, creatives, and everyday folks seeking clarity.
His approach isn’t about telling you what to do. It’s about helping you rediscover your own answers. For Hun, the goal is always transformation that’s real, lasting, and grounded in purpose.
The Start of His Own Inner Journey
Hun’s story begins much like many of ours do—full of questions. At 18, he was already coaching others. But just two years later, he found himself in the middle of a deep personal crisis, wondering: “Who am I, really? What’s the point of all this?”
Instead of brushing those questions aside, he leaned into them. He spent years traveling, learning from different cultures and teachers—immersing himself in everything from psychology to spiritual wisdom. Along the way, he apprenticed under renowned spiritual mentor Starr Fuentes, inheriting sacred teachings and responsibilities that would later inform his unique coaching style.
This journey of seeking and unlearning shaped who he is today: not just a coach, but a companion in self-discovery.
A Career That Bridges Coaching, Creativity, and Social Impact
Hun’s work doesn’t fit into one box. He’s not only a coach but also an artist, speaker, and advocate for mental wellness. Over the years, he’s worked with more than 10,000 people around the world—helping them break through old patterns and build lives they actually want to live.
In 2016, Hun co-led a campaign in Singapore that provided free coaching to hundreds of people in just one month—a project that made national headlines and opened doors to larger conversations about personal development in Asia. He’s also been active in South Korea, contributing to initiatives that combine self-awareness with social change.
His creative side shines through collaborative art projects that explore themes like emotional expression, identity, and connection. These works, often done under the name “Ming Kwangny & Lummy,” are as much about starting conversations as they are about beauty.
What Sets His Coaching Apart
What makes Hun different is his deep belief in “inner work.” To him, personal change doesn’t start with a new routine or career—it begins by going inward and seeing what’s really there.
His coaching process involves looking at life through multiple lenses—mind, body, emotion, and spirit. He uses a mix of psychological techniques, body-based therapies, energy work, and storytelling to help people peel back the layers that are keeping them stuck.
Hun doesn’t offer surface-level advice. Instead, he helps people explore what’s beneath the surface so they can live, lead, and love with more authenticity.
Coaching That Meets You Where You Are
Hun offers a number of different programs depending on what someone needs—whether it’s clarity in their career, healing from emotional wounds, or support through a life transition.

Sharing His Message Through Media and Art
Hun’s presence extends beyond coaching sessions. He’s been featured in media interviews, art exhibitions, and talks about emotional wellness. His work often brings together personal growth and creative expression in unique, thoughtful ways.
Through his project ThisConnect.today, he’s created spaces for people to explore their inner worlds through interactive art. These exhibitions have received attention from community leaders and mental health organizations alike—including public praise from Singapore Member of Parliament Carrie Tan.
Carrie has called Hun “my healer and teacher,” highlighting the impact of his work on emotional wellness and self-awareness in both private and public spaces.
Real Stories, Real Impact
Hun’s clients often speak of their work with him as life-changing—not because he “fixed” them, but because he helped them remember their own strength.
One person shared, “Working with Hun gave me the courage to stop living on autopilot and start living on my own terms.” Another said, “He sees what’s beneath the surface. He doesn’t waste time. He gets right to what matters.”
Others describe walking away from his workshops with a sense of peace, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. The feedback is consistent: Hun doesn’t just talk about transformation—he holds the space where it can happen.
His Voice Through Books
Hun is also the author of several books that explore emotional health and human experience.
His 2021 photo book Masks of Singapore, created with Fujifilm, documented real stories of people exploring their emotional identities. Launched during World Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, it aimed to make conversations around mental health more visible and human.
His four-volume series Threading Worlds brings together the voices of over 70 contributors—from doctors and educators to everyday people—to talk about mental wellness in Singapore. These books invite readers into raw, honest reflections, giving language to emotions that often go unspoken.
Leaving a Mark on the Personal Growth Movement
Hun Ming Kwang continues to be a leading voice in the personal development space in Singapore and beyond. He’s known not just for his tools and techniques, but for his presence—calm, grounded, and deeply human.
He’s helped shape how people think about growth—not as a race to self-improvement, but as a lifelong journey of becoming more fully ourselves.
His work inspires others to not just look inward but also to act outwardly—with compassion, intention, and courage. Whether through a coaching session, a conversation, or a piece of art, Hun’s impact is felt as an invitation: to be real, to be present, and to rise.
